Located at the northern edge of Qingdao's Jiaozhou Bay, Qingdao High-Tech Zone is approximately 30 minutes' drive from the Central Business District, 10 minutes' drive from Qingdao Liuting International Airport, 20 minutes drive from the Old Port Area of Qingdao Port and 30 minutes drive from Qianwan New Port of Qingdao Port.
There are currently 9 highways in operational use in and around QNHIDZ. Jiaozhou Bay Highway crosses the zone and connects with the north-south Heilongjiang-Hainan Highway, and the east-west Qingdao-Yinchuan and Qingdao-Lanzhou highways. The zone is situated at a favorable location with convenient transport links.
